2016 Census: Age, Sex and Type of dwelling

On May 3rd 2017, Statistics Canada will publish the latest chapter in the story of our country and its people.

This second series of results from the 2016 Census of Population focuses on the age and sex distribution of the Canadian population and on the types of dwellings in 2016.

Several products will be released through articles in The Daily, including three Census in Brief articles. The first article will focus on recent trends for those aged 15 to 64. The second article will look at the population of those aged 85 and older. The last article will present information on the structural types of dwellings and will include basic information on the population living in collective dwellings.

For more information and a full list of the products being released on May 3, 2017, please consult the Census website.
