Their Honours Frank F. Fagan, CM, ONL, MBA and Patricia Fagan

Frank F. Fagan became the 13th Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador in March 2013 following a distinguished career in business and many years of community service.

The position of Lieutenant Governor, a uniquely Canadian institution, was created in 1867 by the British North America Act, now known as The Constitution Act.

Frank F. Fagan est devenu le treizième lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador en mars 2013 après avoir connu une carrière éminente dans les affaires et passé de nombreuses années au service de la collectivité.

Le poste de lieutenant-gouverneur est une institution propre au Canada instaurée par l'Acte de l'Amérique du Nord britannique de 1867 que l'on désigne de nos jours sous l'appellation de Loi constitutionnelle.

This Caribou statue, the Battle emblem of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, came from the ship The H.M.S. Newfoundland and now often adorns the dining table at Government House? An identical one from the same ship is on display at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. It was originally presented to the ship by “The People of Newfoundland” in 1944.
