March is Liver Health MonthFew Canadians realize that each day they make decisions that affect their liver health. In honour of Liver Health Month, we have prepared a Liver Healthy Home Checklist to demonstrate how everyday activities or commonplace products can all have positive or negative effects on the liver. To download a copy of the checklist and access other resources and information on liver health, please click on the icon. Liver disease currently affects 1 in 10 Canadians, including men, women and children. The good news is that some of the most prevalent forms of liver disease can often be prevented through lifestyle changes or by taking simple precautions. Throughout March, Canadian Liver Foundation chapters across Canada will be encouraging Canadians to learn more about how to protect their liver health.
