Chaperones

The standard ratio of learners per Museum Educator is 25. Chaperone ratios are at the discretion of the school or organization, however, it is the chaperones’ responsibility to ensure that learners are supervised at all times during their visit. As we expect chaperones to be working hard to help students get the most out of their visit, admission for all chaperones is free of charge. If you are having difficulty locating enough chaperones for your visit, contact us , we can help!

Special Needs

If there is a learner in your group who requires accommodation, please let us know at the time of booking and we will make every effort to meet their needs.

The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 is fully wheelchair accessible. Subtitles are available in French and English for the film in Canada.
