Canada: Day 1 Educational Program
Ideal For: Grades 4-9

This interactive and thought-provoking educational program takes place inside the Canada: Day 1 temporary exhibit, allowing students to make real-time connections to the themes and artwork that make the exhibit so extraordinary. While immersing themselves in the exhibit atmosphere, students will have the opportunity to participate in several curriculum-connected activities designed to build understanding of cross-cultural connections, identity, and immigrants’ first day experiences. Two variations of this program are available: One for grades 4-6 and one for grades 7-9.
