Please contact us before you arrive so we can help you get the most out of your time at the Museum. We are happy to book private tours and schedule oral history interviews.

Have your memories preserved

Any documentation or photographs you can bring when you visit can be scanned for the museum’s collection. If you are more of a writer than a talker and would like to contribute to the Museum, a written story would be wonderful.

Paying tribute to loved ones

The Sobey Wall of Honour and the Wall of Service provide you the opportunity to preserve your family’s heritage and pay tribute to loved ones. Whether your family arrived in Canada through Pier 21 or any other gateway, or if your family passed through the Pier during the Second World War, having your family name preserved on a brick is a gift that lasts a lifetime.
