The Ratz Collection
The Halifax Herald and Chronicle Herald Clippings Collection
Aileen Ratz who was the Port Receptionist of the United Church in Canada during the 1950s and 1960s saved this wonderful collection of newspaper clippings about the people who passed through Pier 21 in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she was the Port Receptions for the United Church of Canada in the 1950s and 1960s. Upon her death her great niece, Donna Ratz and her great nephew, John Ratz donated four scrapbooks that included these clippings among other memorabilia from her career.
