I have worked for the Canada Border Services Agency since 2006 at Toronto Pearson International Airport. When I first started, I worked in the Customs stream for two years, and then switched over to work in Immigration, and have done so ever since. Toronto Pearson is currently in the process of integrating the two streams to become one. Although under the same umbrella, the functions are completely different and I absolutely love having the opportunity to work in both areas. ...Having the chance to serve and protect Canada in so many ways means a lot to me and always keeps the job interesting.
Working at an airport gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. It has opened my eyes to so many cultures, that I would not have necessarily been exposed to before. Being a woman in such an important position is a great way to show people from other cultures how much Canada values diversity and equality.

Woof! We work on tons of things that make us wag our tails, one of which being able to protect Canadians both at home and abroad.
We’re having a “ruff” debate ...on which one of us is cutest. Vote in the comments below for who you’d rather work with :
1) Link the Royal Canadian Mounted Police dog
2) Batisse the Canadian Armed Forces goat (still very cute)
3) Mattie the Canada Border Services Agency dog
