Tour Cancellations: August 29 and September 24
August 29: Guided tours of Centre Block will be cancelled. The Peace Tower and Memorial Chamber will be open to the public until 12:00 p.m, and East Block tours will be available all day.
September 24: Due to parliamentary activity, tours will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Foundations: The Words That Shaped Canada
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation, a selection of Canada's foundational documents are on display in a new exhibit in the Library of Parliament. This special exhibit, completed in partnership with Library and Archives Canada, can be seen as part of a guided tour of Centre Block.
Bag Restrictions
Visitors are permitted to bring one bag into the Parliament Buildings, measuring no more than 35.5 cm x 30.5 cm x 19 cm (14” x 12” x 7.5”). All other personal belongings may be stored free of charge at 90 Wellington Street.
