The Leader of the Government in the House of Commons is responsible for co-ordinating the Government’s day-to-day business in the House and managing the overall legislative agenda of the Government. The Leader of the Government in the House of Commons does not head a department but is one of three portfolio ministers supported by the Privy Council Office.
