Section 47.1 of the Public Service Employment Act states, in part, that "The Head of the Public Service shall submit a report on the state of the Public Service in each fiscal year to the Prime Minister."

In accordance with this requirement, the Clerk of the Privy Council submits an Annual Report to the Prime Minister on the Public Service of Canada.
