Parks Canada’s environmental assessment program supports stewardship of the national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas administered by the Parks Canada Agency. The environmental assessment program encompasses a number of legislated and policy-based processes that help achieve our mandate to protect and present nationally significant examples of Canada’s natural and cultural heritage.
