Visitors may take personal memento photos inside the museum during their visit, except where otherwise noted. Additional lights and tripods are not permitted. This permission extends to students for school projects, but any projects involving more than one person and/or additional audio-visual equipment requires advance notice and permission. Contact

Locations
The Canadian Museum of Nature has two locations that can serve as rich backdrops:
- Our beautiful, newly renovated museum in downtown Ottawa has a variety of natural-science exhibitions and elegant public areas in a historic, castle-like setting.
- Our research and collections facility in Gatineau has modern labs and a wide variety of collections that document the natural world in Canada and beyond.
