Make the Canadian Museum of Nature your party central!

The museum offers birthday parties for kids aged four to twelve years old. Treat your child to an unforgettable experience with gallery time, hands-on activities, and skilled educators to lead them on a voyage of natural discovery.

Animated Party

Themes

Palaeo Pals (ages 4 – 8)

  • Explore the fossil gallery and discover why there are no dinosaurs today.
  • Touch a 70-million-year-old fossil
  • Take home a unique, hand-made fossil cast

SCUBA Stars (ages 4 – 8)

  • Visit the Water Gallery and learn about the giant of the sea—the enormous Blue Whale
  • Meet a live sea star
  • Make a fun, water-themed craft

Bugtastic Fun (ages 4 to 8)

  • Suit up and take a bug safari in our Nature Live gallery
  • Get up close and personal with a live insect
  • Take home a trophy from your safari adventure

NEW!!  Arctic Adventures (ages 8 to 12)

  • Take a trip to Canada’s North in our new Canada Goose Arctic Gallery
  • Explore birthday traditions in the circumpolar region and the importance of animals for traditional northern food
  • Make a cool, Arctic-themed craft

Description

  • Over one hour of games and activities with a skilled educator
  • Themes:
    • Palaeo Pals (dinosaurs)
    • SCUBA Stars (oceans)
    • Bugtastic Fun (insects)
    • Arctic Adventures (the North)
  • Gallery visit
  • 50 minutes in a party room
  • Cake or cupcakes and juice
  • Craft supplies
  • Maximum 20 people, including a maximum of 15 children*
  • Minimum one adult
  • Saturdays and Sundays:
    • 10 am
    • 2 pm

*Please inquire about the possibility of accommodating larger groups.

Cost

  • $280 for up to 12 people
  • $12 for each additional person
  • 10% discount for members and volunteers
  • Taxes are not included.

Do-It-Yourself Party

  • unguided visit of the galleries
  • reserved lunch area for one hour
