Round-trip travel to The Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre is provided free of charge* by Canadian Heritage!
Your week in Ottawa is a great bargain at only $675, covering accommodation, meals and all program costs - supplies, activities, visits and tours, and travel within Ottawa. Many provincial/territorial governments even help subsidize these expenses!

Spending money
Ottawa abounds with all sorts of activities! Enjoy an outing to the theatre, a concert, or dance performance, or attend sporting events, like an NHL hockey game. Ticket prices generally vary between $8 and $40.
Also included: a free morning in downtown Ottawa to shop, sightsee, visit the historic Byward Market and/or to taste a delicious Beaver Tail!
Snacks, souvenirs, and miscellaneous: At the Centre, Bob’s Canteen is there to provide you with all and sundry, including EWC souvenir t-shirts, tuques, and so much more.
Supplementary excursions, snacks and souvenirs – there’s lots to do and see, so make sure you bring some extra cash. And there’s an ATM on the premises, in case you run short.

Each week, young Canadians from every province and territory attend the program, forming a quasi “mini-Canada” representation, a veritable snapshot of Canada’s population.
When you register, you are asked to choose three theme weeks, in order of preference, from among the 13 themes offered.
