Suitcase Exhibition

Minerals is a suitcase-sized exhibition packed chock-a-block with activity boxes with real minerals specimens from the museum's collection, as well as hands-on activities, graphic panels, activity sheets, games, books and videos.

This suitcase will allow users to learn more about the diversity, form and properties of minerals, as well as their uses in everyday life.

This hands-on suitcase is full of surprises!

  • 9 activity boxes with real mineral specimens
  • 6 graphic panels and 6 support plinths
  • 7 activity sheets
  • a surface Pro 3 tablet in protective case
  • books and videos
  • a power cord and transformer
  • a keyboard
  • a combination lock

  • the suitcase weighs approximately 37 kg (75 lb.)
  • when set up, the contents occupy approximately two tabletops
