Bird Gallery

The birds have migrated to the third floor!

Now you can examine the detail and delicate beauty of close to 500 mounted specimens in their refreshed nesting spot.

Ornithologists, budding birders and artists alike delight in this opportunity to encounter 450 bird species all in one place.

Great hands-on components include matching a bird to its song, species identification and bird call imitation.

Children flock to the special clinic/play area where they learn about taking care of injured birds.
