The Ombudsman, English Services, presents his annual report to CBC/Radio-Canada’s Board of Directors, requiring travel to a Board meeting in Ottawa each year.
The Ombudsman, English Services, attends the annual conference of the Organization of News Ombudsmen, meetings of the Forum of Canadian Ombudsman, and conferences related to journalism and ombudsmanship. Travel is occasionally required for the adjudication of complaints.
