Before the Opening Ceremony, Mikaël Kingsbury performed earlier day in the men's freestyle skiing.
He ranked #1 in his heat.
Family members and friends of our athletes were gathered at Canada Olympic House to watch the Opening Ceremony of the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games and to cheer on Team Canada as it entered the Olympic Stadium.
The Governor General joined by her son Laurier cheered proudly from the stands Team Canada members as they made their way into the Stadium.
From February 9 to 25, 2018, some 225 Canadian athletes will perform in these Games with the hope and dream on making it to the podium.
