Cannabis in Taiwan is illegal. Cannabis is listed as a category 2 narcotic by Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act in the ROC. Possession of a category 2 drug can result in up to three years of imprisonment; planting or trafficking can result in at least seven years of imprisonment.[1]
