    With the opening of the First Session of the 43rd Parliament, I am happy to be back in the upper house of the Parliament of Canada with my colleagues. We will continue to work hard together to protect our Canadian Federation from coast to coast to coast.

    We spent the first 3 days in New York telling major US investors, fund managers, and media networks that Alberta is open for business. Next we're headed to the midwest US to support pipelines carrying Alberta oil.
