RTI is situated within the traditional territory of the Tsimshian Nation and has worked cooperatively with the Coast Tsimshian First Nations of Lax Kw’alaams and Metlakatla to develop and foster a relationship based on mutual respect.

RTI continues to take an active role in the community through engagement, direct funding and volunteer work. RTI demonstrates good corporate social responsibility by working in partnership with local organizations. RTI has been in operation for over 30 years and continues to enjoy a strong relationship with the City of Prince Rupert and the District of Port Edward.
