Persons with Disabilities

The Government of Canada has a number of employment related programs and services to help persons with disabilities to participate in the workforce.

  • Employment for persons with disabilities - Use Job Bank to access a number of tools that can assist both job seekers with disabilities and employers seeking to recruit persons with disabilities.
  • The Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities provides funding for national, regional, and local projects that assist persons with disabilities in preparing for and finding employment or self-employment, as well as acquiring the skills necessary to maintain that new employment.
