MoreThe first time I walked into the animation studio in the basement of Maison de Radio-Canada in Montreal, it took a while for my eyes to get used to the darkness. It was marvellous when I was finally able to make out hundreds of little objects on the table, some of them recent, others very vintage after having been carefully preserved for decades. The team vision and a storyline had been posted on the wall. In the middle of the room, under the spotlights, the creative team was buzzing around the work surface in an atmosphere of joy and good cheer, like tireless little elves. All the necessary ingredients had been brought together to create a magical holiday card!
