    Do not pass a school bus when the lights are flashing. It is illegal and dangerous. Nothing is worth it. The fine for passing a school bus when the red lights are flashing is up to $5,000.

    When first responders, with their lights activated, are stopped on the side of the road. . . drivers must slow down to half the speed limit and move over a lane if it's safe to do so. This includes tow trucks and recovery vehicles.

    I don’t know who you are driver, but Thank You Sir for providing us with an excellent example of how to safely pass an emergency vehicle performing their duties. This video shows how he observed the “Move Over Law” giving my partner plenty of room. Cst. Parsons
