Product Description

Canada has implemented WHMIS 2015, a national chemical classification and hazard communication standard for workplace chemicals. The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS 2015) incorporates the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (or GHS) for workplace chemicals.

This new webinar helps to summarize key requirements for suppliers and others about WHMIS 2015 – such as hazard classes, pictograms, supplier labels and SDS headings. Participants will gain a better understanding of Health Canada's implementation of the GHS in Canada.

Target Audience

This webinar is targeted towards Canadian audiences. It is for WHMIS suppliers (or their representatives) who sell or import hazardous products for use in Canadian workplaces. This presentation will also be of interest to employers who manufacture hazardous products for use in their own workplaces.
