Along with her brother and sister, Ng grew up working in the family’s restaurant.[1] She is a graduate of the University of Toronto.[2]

As part of her commitment to connect students and their innovative ideas with businesses ultimately creating quality jobs for young Canadians, Ng aided in the creation of Ryerson’s Digital Media Zone (DMZ), a world leading accelerator for tech startups in Canada.[citation needed]

Ng holds roles on Parliamentary Associations such as the Canada-China Legislative Association and the Canadian NATO Parliamentary Association.[7]
