The PCOF was established in 1979 after a split in the Strasbourg section of the pro-Chinese Marxist–Leninist Communist Party of France . During the Cold War, the PCOF supported the political line of the Party of Labour of Albania. The organization publishes a monthly newspaper called La Forge. ISSN 0242-3332.[1]
The PCOF is an active participant in the International Conference of Marxist–Leninist Parties and Organizations (Unity & Struggle).
