One-day strike closes most schools in northeastern Ontario
There will be no class today for most elementary and secondary students across northeastern Ontario. That's because of a one-day strike by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation.

'Snow day' shovelling for neighbour makes brothers feel good
Two brothers, Ahmad and Ryda Alzaharan, spent part of a recent 'snow day' off school doing a good deed for an elderly neighbour. The teenagers came to Canada from Lebanon in January 2016.
