Nobel Prize laureates — including Winnipeg-born James Peebles — took the opportunity Saturday to stress the importance of addressing climate change.

First results from the mission revealed intense 'rogue waves' in the solar wind and anomalies in the sun's magnetic field that might help explain the longstanding mystery of how the sun's atmosphere reaches extreme temperatures of millions of degrees.
