Thames River expected to peak Wednesday night in Chatham

Residents in Chatham are being warned the Thames River will peak late Wednesday night. Heavy rainfall over the weekend has caused the waterway to overflow its banks. The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority (LTVCA) has issued a flood warning that will remain in effect until Thursday.

Authorities seize 200 kg of suspected meth at Ambassador Bridge

The man was allegedly driving a commercial truck through the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Ont. on Dec. 24 when he was referred for a secondary examination. During the examination, CBSA officers discovered nine containers filled with the suspected narcotics.
