Welcome to WikiProject Multi-sport events. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of multi-sport events and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.

The WikiProject was established on October 8, 2010 having garnered support at the WikiProject Council. We are actively seeking participants right now; so if you're keen on our project why not sign up now!

We are still looking for coordinators to help us with this enormous project! If you would like to coordinate articles relating to a specific competition, please visit the talk page here.

Coordinators[edit]

A new aspect of this project is the existence of more than one coordinator.

  1. Bill william compton (talk · contribs) — Coordinator of the Asian Games and Asian Para Games, works with Intoronto1125 on coordinating the Commonwealth Games.
  2. Intoronto1125 (talk · contribs) — Coordinator of the Pan American Games, Universiade, Canada Games, South Asian Games (Beach and Winter), works with Strange Passerby on coordinating the Jeux de la Francophonie, and works with Bill william compton on coordinating the Commonwealth Games. I also am unofficially the calendar creator for these events.
  3. Sellyme (talk · contribs) — Coordinator of the Island Games, Lusophony Games, Games of the Small States of Europe and South American Games. Also works on recruitment.
  4. Strange Passerby (talk · contribs) - Coordinator of the South East Asian Games, works with Intoronto1125 on coordinating the Jeux de la Francophonie.
