From April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, SSHRC received 14,400 funding applications and awarded more than 5,100 new grants and fellowships.

Over the course of competitions, more than 950 people participated in Talent, Insight and Connection merit review committees, and SSHRC received over 3,500 external assessments of project proposals, in addition to thousands of reference letters for scholarship and fellowship applications.

Additional competition results from the 2018-19 fiscal year are included below.

A number of competitions also took place in April and early May 2019, with results to be released in the coming months.
