    It is worth noting that this kind of inmate and guard data is not pro-actively released for provincial jails in Ontario, which are overseen by the Ministry of Solicitor General.

    The union reports one more COVID case for COs than yesterday (from 8-9 at Mission), and 65 total; federal inmate cases are up 6, from 145 to 151 — one more at GVI, a few at Mission.

    Correctional Services Canada confirmed just now that it has put an end to COs rotating in and out of Mission Medium in BC, where a COVID-19 positive inmate died this week after a transfer to hospital. The Union of Canadian Correctional Officers had called for the stop.
