  1. Yukon Archives Descriptive Database

    The Yukon Archives Descriptive Database is an online guide to our archival holdings.

    Search the Yukon Archives Descriptive Database

    It has descriptions of many, but not all, of our records. For example, it doesn't include published material from the Yukon Archives library. It does provide access to a small number of digital archival records.

    We add new information on a regular basis. If you can't find a record, you may have to visit Yukon Archives to consult our paper-based inventories.

    If you have questions, email: yukon.archives@gov.yk.ca or phone: 867-667-8061, or toll free in Yukon: 1-800-661-0408 ext. 8061.

  2. Yukon Archives image database

    Our image database has over 3000 image records from 7 collections.

    You can search by keyword or browse by subject.

  3. Yukon Archives library catalogue

    We have a large collection of books and serials about Yukon and its surrounding regions. These materials cover subjects including:

    • Yukon and northern history;
    • environment;
    • ethnography;
    • science and nature; and
    • exploration.

    You're welcome to read these materials in our research room, but you cannot borrow them for use off-site.

    You can also find electronic versions of some current and historical publications in the catalogue.

  4. Research your family history

    Use Yukon Genealogy to research your family history. It gives you access to resources related to Yukon genealogical research.
