നോവ സ്കോട്ടിയ (ലാറ്റിൻ ഭാഷയിൽ "ന്യൂ സ്കോട്ലാൻഡ്") കാനഡയിലെ പത്ത് പ്രവിശ്യകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്‌. അറ്റ്ലാൻറിക് കാനഡയുടെ ഭാഗമായ നാലു പ്രവിശ്യകളിൽ ഒന്നായ ഇത്, 55,284 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ വലിപ്പവുമായി, കാനഡയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ രണ്ടാമത്തെ പ്രവിശ്യയാണ്. ഹ്യാലിഫാക്സ് ആണ് പ്രവിശ്യാ തലസ്ഥാനം. കേപ് ബ്രെട്ടൻ ദ്വീപ് അടക്കം 3,800 തീരദേശ ദ്വീപുകൾ നോവ സ്കോട്ടിയയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ്. 2016 ലെ കണക്കുപ്രകാരം ഇവിടുത്തെ ജനസംഖ്യ 923,598 ആണ്. പ്രിൻസ് എഡ്വേർഡ് ഐലന്റ് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്ററിന് 17.4 ആൾക്കായുമായി കാനഡയിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഏറ്റവുമധികം ജനസാന്ദ്രതയുള്ള പ്രവിശ്യയാണ് നോവ സ്കോട്ടിയ.
