Spring (May to June)

Online course: Let's speak French! conversation sessions

Would you like to practise French conversation? Develop your listening and speaking abilities with this participatory class focusing on oral skills.

• 4-week course, 75 minutes each week.
• This course will be delivered online via Zoom, a free video conferencing application.

Online course: Special spring-summer series

Join us for a series of online sessions from May to July. Each session will focus on a specific topic. We’ll teach you relevant words so you can express your ideas with more confidence.

Session 11 – I'm hungry. Let's talk about food!

Session 11a

• Recommended levels: Beginner to intermediate (not suitable for true beginners)
• Wednesday July 15 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
   

Session 11b

• Recommended levels: Intermediate to advanced
• Wednesday July 22 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Session 12 - As easy as ABC and 123!

• Recommended level: Beginner
• Thursday July 30 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Fall 2020 (September to December)

Course: Weekly classes

• 12-week classes, 2 hours each week.
• Optional conversation sessions (a 1.5-hour session each week for 10 weeks).

Winter 2020 (January to April)

Course: Weekly classes

• 12-week classes, 2 hours each week.
• Optional conversation sessions (a 1.5-hour session each week for 10 weeks).

Registration and testing

Registration is on a 1st-come, 1st-served basis.

1. You will have to take a placement test before registering. Email french.training@gov.yk.ca or phone 867-667-8297 to book a free over-the-phone placement test.
2. We will send all the information you need to register (payment details, schedule, etc.) by email.
