Accreditation: A global tool to support Public Policy

World Accreditation Day is recognized every year to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation. It is a global initiative, jointly established by the International Accreditation Forum and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation.
Standardization is essential to Canada’s economic growth. Speakers discussed how standardization solutions help to enhance Canada’s economy, protect Canadians and support our governments by providing efficient options to help them meet regulatory requirements. Speakers also demonstrated how complying with standards and achieving certification make it easier for businesses to enter new markets and boosts opportunities for economic growth and innovation.
