Having purchased a Lancet Choice pass, you’ll be able to pick and choose any 5 paywall articles from the following journals:

How it works:
Purchase your Lancet Choice pass from the Summary or Full Text page of an article you wish to access. This article will count as the first of 5 article credits, or ‘Allowances’, and you can use your remaining Allowances to access 4 other articles from across The Lancet family of journals.
Each article Allowance gives you full text and PDF access to your selected article for 24 hours. Your Lancet Choice pass will expire 365 days after the date of purchase, or once you have used up your 5 article Allowances.
Step 1
Purchase your Lancet Choice pass from the Summary or Full Text page of an article you wish to access. Note: this article will count as one of your 5 article Allowances, and you will get immediate access (full text and PDF) for a 24 hour period.
Step 2
You can select and access 4 more articles (from any Lancet journals) using your Lancet Choice pass. To access an article, simply log into your TheLancet.com account and click on the 'Use Allowance' link when prompted to make a payment on the Summary or Full text page of your chosen article. This will count as another of your 5 article Allowances, and you will be granted full online access to the article (full text and PDF versions) for 24 hours.
Step 3
Your Lancet Choice pass will expire 365 days after the date of purchase, or once you have used up your 5 article Allowances.
