On 22 February 2021, Zimbabwe launched their national COVID-19 vaccination program using the BBIBP-CorV/Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine.[3][4] As of 4 May 2021, 452,191 people have received their first dose, and 107,586 people have received their second dose.[1]

On 14 February 2021, the first 200,000 BBIBP-CorV vaccines landed at Harare's Robert Mugabe International Airport.[5][6]

On 22 February 2021 Zimbabwe began its vaccination program.[7]

On 25 February the number of people vaccinated surpassed 10,000 people.[8]
