Winter Olympics appearances (overview)

Malaysia is scheduled to compete at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022.[1] This will be the country's second appearance to the Winter Olympics and also the second consecutive time since their first appearance at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Malaysia's team is expected to consist of two alpine skiers (one per gender). These will be the first Winter Olympics for Malaysia with a female athlete on the team.[2][3]

Alpine skier Jeffrey Webb was the flagbearer during the opening ceremony.[4]

By meeting the basic qualification standards Malaysia qualified one male and one female alpine skier.[5]
