Haiti is one of the few countries in the world which is yet to vaccinate its citizens against COVID-19 as of June 2021.[1] The Haitian government is yet to accept the free Oxford–AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines offered by U.N backed COVAX due to safety and logistical concerns.[1] The U.S. government has said that it would donate a portion of its six million doses for Haiti.[2][3]
