Canadian Music Halls of Fame

Explore the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, Quebec’s ADISQ Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame.

Featuring musical artifacts, one-of-a-kind memorabilia, and tributes to inductees, these collections pay homage to some of Canada’s most renowned music industry icons—from Bryan Adams and Buffy Sainte-Marie to Oscar Peterson and Neil Young.

Canadian Music Hall of Fame

Established in 1978 and governed by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), the Canadian Music Hall of Fame recognizes Canadian artists who have attained commercial success while making a positive impact on the music scene in Canada and beyond.

Each year, inductees to the Hall of Fame in the artist, industry, and humanitarian categories are announced at the JUNO Awards. In partnership with CARAS, NMC collects and exhibits the Canadian Music Hall of Fame Collection, including a display of plaques with winners’ names.

Please note: The Canadian Music Hall of Fame exhibition is temporarily closed for updates.

Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame

The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) is a national, bilingual, non-profit organization with an ongoing mission to honour and celebrate Canadian songwriters. As Canada’s only Hall of Fame for songwriting, the CSHF works diligently to raise awareness of the incredible contributions these exceptional songwriters have made in Canada and the world.

In 2011, CSHF was acquired by the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN), and in 2016, it found a permanent home inside Studio Bell.
