2024 in film is an overview of events, including award ceremonies, festivals, a list of country- and genre-specific lists of films released, and notable deaths. Columbia Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer will celebrate their respective 100th anniversaries, Miramax will celebrate its 45th anniversary and 20th Century Animation, DreamWorks Pictures, DreamWorks Animation and Searchlight Pictures will celebrate their 30th anniversaries.
