How do I make a reservation for my group?

  1. Select a tentative date for your guided tour of Parliament. To help you decide, consult the Senate calendar and House of Commons calendar to determine the scheduled sitting days for both Chambers. The Chamber(s) are not included on the guided tour when either the Senate or the House of Commons is sitting.
  2. Complete the group reservation request form. Ensure that all information categories are completed. If you are booking for a school, verify that the required contact information is completed.
  3. Submit your request form by fax to (613) 995-1309. Faxes will be processed in order. If the information is complete and the requested time is available, you will receive a confirmation of your tour by fax. If you are booking a school tour, you will receive confirmation once the reservation agent has communicated with the school contact. Please bring your confirmation number with you to present upon arrival.
  4. All tours are subject to cancellation without notice due to parliamentary activity. Go to Visitor News for the latest updates.
  5. For information on what to expect when you arrive, please consult Planning a Visit? before your tour.

What should we do when we arrive?

  1. There are designated bus drop-off areas (offsite link) on Wellington Street and Queen Street.
  2. Allow time for your group to disembark from the bus and walk to the Visitor Welcome Centre entrance located at the base of the Peace Tower.
  3. All visitors to the Parliament Buildings are required to go through security scanning stations. To avoid delays, encourage your group to leave any unnecessary items, such as backpacks or bags, on the bus or at your point of origin (school, hotel, etc.).
