Students in front of the Hawker Sea Fury

The Education Services and Community Programs Division welcomes you to the Canada Aviation Museum.

This section highlights our programs available for schools, daycares and other youth groups. We offer a range of programs from those geared to meet the requirements of the Ontario and Quebec curriculums, to programs where the learning takes place in a less formal format. These programs have been designed to maximize your students’ opportunities to explore, experiment, observe, assess and discuss their findings. Participation is key to all our programs and actively encouraged by our dynamic education staff.

Our guided tours are interactive, providing students with many opportunities to ask questions, make comments and share their experiences. Workshop-style programs offer hands-on components where students are able to put theory into practice following the principles of the scientific method.

Your visit will enable your students to understand and better appreciate Canada’s aeronautical heritage. Our Museum’s world-class collection of aircraft forms the perfect backdrop for programs that tell the wonderful stories of extraordinary aviation achievements and how they relate to the broader social and economic context of Canadian history.

Our programs offer a dynamic, intriguing way to meet and complement your student&#;s learning and curriculum needs.
