STUDENT AND TEACHER PROGRAMS 2007-2008

The NGC Student and Teacher Programs are designed to assist teachers with planning their Gallery and CMCP on-site visits and to support visual arts education in the classroom. You can now view more than 14,400 images of works in the permanent collection and access educational resources with a simple click of the mouse!

The programs are dedicated to presenting innovative and exceptional museum experiences. We offer Guided Visits, Discovery Visits, and Studio Activities for students from kindergarten to high school, enhancing provincial visual arts curricula through a variety of current pedagogical approaches. We also offer adapted school programs for students with special needs. FM assistive listening devices are available upon request as well as ASL and LSQ sign language interpretation, subject to availability. For more information on the student and teacher programs, visit national.gallery.ca and click on “Programs and Activities.” To book a school program, contact the Group Reservation Office three weeks in advance at 613-990-4888 or reservations@gallery.ca
