Inspired by a woven blanket, this large-scale art installation honours the children who were forced into Indian residential schools in Canada between 1870 and 1996, and symbolizes ongoing reconciliation. View a video about the exhibition.
Located in the Museum’s Level 6 “Expressions” gallery, this exhibition is included in the cost of general admission. An interactive experience tells the stories behind hundreds of objects that make up this artwork, available through a free iOS mobile app – or borrow a loaded device in gallery.
