The Farm Products Council of Canada (FPCC) received on July 17, 2012 a proposal for the establishment of a national marketing agency from the Pullet Growers of Canada (PGC). Public hearings were held in Ottawa and Winnipeg in 2013. The Panel then prepared its report resulting from the inquiry which was presented to the Council and considered in preparation of its recommendation to the Minister.
