Funding Programs
The Department funds an array of projects and programs in Canada and around the world. Office of Protocol
Facilitating the presence in Canada of approximately 8,000 foreign representatives and their dependents. This includes planning, coordinating and implementing all official visits to Canada, events in Canada and abroad, and international travel by the Prime Minister and other Canadian government officials.
